B. Clarke Nash, Esq.

A Former Trial Lawyer for both Plaintiffs and Defendants

As a professional mediator, I bring a unique advantage to every case—I am fully independent and free from any conflicts of interest because I am no longer a practicing attorney. This allows me to approach mediation with complete neutrality while leveraging my deep experience as a former litigator. Having spent years practicing law, I understand the complexities of litigation, the risks involved, and the costs associated with trial. I have mediated numerous high-stakes cases from both the plaintiff and defense perspectives, as well as a wide range of workers' compensation claims.

After graduating from the University of Georgia Lumpkin School of Law, I began my career representing insurance companies in personal injury and workers’ compensation litigation. Years later I would open my own Plaintiff’s practice. From auto accidents and slip and falls to medical malpractice and negligent security, our firm mediated and tried cases of all types.

A seasoned trial attorney provides a strong foundation for thorough litigation analysis during mediation. I have spent years assessing case strengths, weaknesses, and potential outcomes, giving me the ability to help both sides understand their risks and explore creative settlement solutions. Unlike mediators without legal backgrounds, I bring a practical, strategic approach to negotiation—one that focuses on results while maintaining the efficiency and fairness that mediation demands.

Litigation is costly, time-consuming, and emotionally draining for all parties involved. Trials force individuals and businesses to endure uncertainty, prolonged stress, and often, the emotional burden of reliving difficult experiences. Mediation provides a better path—one that allows parties to reach agreements in a controlled, confidential, and efficient setting. I create an environment where both sides feel heard and empowered to shape their own resolution, rather than leaving their fate in the hands of a judge or jury.

At FRM, we offer a results-driven, legally informed mediation process that prioritizes fairness, efficiency, and resolution. Whether you are a plaintiff seeking financial recovery, a defense attorney managing risk, or an insurance carrier looking for an efficient settlement, I bring the steady hand and legal insight necessary to guide negotiations successfully.
